Audi S8

We’d like to introduce the pinnacle of luxury executive saloon’s. You read that in Jeremy Clarkson’s voice, admit it. Very few cars successfully blend luxury and performance quite like the D5 Audi S8. Based on the A8, the S8 offers all of the creature comforts you would expect from Audi’s flagship model except with a little twist. What’s the twist? An absolutely monstrous 563-hp and 590 lb-ft torque twin-turbo V8; and it packs a punch. In our opinion, Audi really outdid themselves with their latest facelifts on the B9, C8 and D5 chassis’. From upscale materials, high-end tech, and probably the best lightning the industry has to offer. Credit where it’s due, Audi knows how to engineer their cars for optimal performance. But we think we can take it to the next level. The OEM wheels that come mounted on this saloon are heavy and don’t compliment its modern body lines well. So we did what we do best and mounted concave Flow Forged wheels.

Truth be told, those who own an Audi D5 S8 probably aren’t going to throw money at go-fast bits. But there is one area where you can improve, especially on a car this size. Suspension, wheels and tires all can dramatically increase handling characteristics. So the next logical step for us was new wheels and tires. We mounted our new Flow Forged CFF46 finished in gloss black. Sizing, we went for an aggressive yet somehow subtle 22×10 on all four corners. Quattro, duh. For tires, we got in touch with the guys over at Lexani and they hooked us up with 265/30R22 Lexani LX-Nine’s.
