With the reincarnation of the Toyota Supra, it’s no surprise Honda brought back the Acura Integra. The new Integra replaces the ILX, which was Acura’s attempt at an entry-luxury compact car. Car enthusiasts everywhere are foaming at the mouth, because we now have a DC6 Integra – finally. Okay, it’s not a Type-S or a Type-R…yet. However, with Acura’s A-Spec trim you get pretty damn close. That said, the DE4 Integra stays true to what Honda built in years past: a compact and fun-to-drive sports car. With the help of a six-speed manual transmission, carving up the canyons in a little pocket rocket is easier than ever. Just wait until the aftermarket world starts developing more parts.
Similarly to the GR86, the DE4 Integra wasn’t built for quarter mile times. So setting it up for handling and weight reduction is the ultimate goal. The first step in achieving that is a Flow Forged wheel setup and high performance tires. The new Integra is running our Flow Forged Curva Concepts CFF70 in a gloss black finish. Being a FWD car, we went for a square fitment. So we mounted 19×8.5 +35 on all four corners and wrapped them in 235/40R19 Falken ZIEX tires.
