Audi SQ8

We’ve been spending a ton of time doing R&D on a plethora of platforms, and one we’ve been heavily involved with is the Audi chassis. So what did we do? Picked up a brand new SQ8 shop car, of course. Crazy? Maybe. Nonetheless, we’re dedicated to creating high-performance wheels for high-performance vehicles. This SQ8 is exactly that; a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that puts down 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. Mount the robust EA825 to Audi’s Quattro system and a lightning fast eight-speed ZF transmission and you’ve got an absolute rocket of an SUV.

In its stock form, the SQ8 is very similar to the Lamborghini Urus since they share the same chassis and powertrain, but the RS Q8 is its true 1:1 counterpart. Still, the SQ8 blasts to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds. If you really want to bump up the power, a simple APR Stage 1 ECU tune takes this SUV to 637 AWHP and 681 AWTQ; which is actually quicker than the Urus. Power aside, let’s talk about wheel fitments, shall we? This SQ8 is running the Flow Forged Curva Concepts CFF46 22×10.5 +25mm fitment with 295/40R22 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s on each corner. Don’t be fooled by the ‘All Season’ moniker; we’ve really put a beating on this car and the tires hold up exceptionally well on corners. We look forward to setting up more Audi’s with proper fitments; and we’re looking to take this SQ8 a little further too.
