Audi S3

We’re slowly creeping our way into the Quattro world after dabbling in BMW’s. Not to say we’re done with Bimmers, but Audi has always been a segment we’ve been heavily interested in. Having done an A6 C8 and S4 B9 in the past, it was time we arranged a shoot with an S3 8V. What’s not to love about this luxurious pocket rocket? Pumping out nearly 300 horsepower and torque with only 2 liters is quite impressive. All that, plus a lightning-quick 7-Speed S-Tronic transmission, known in Ingolstadt as a Direktschaltgetriebe. Don’t worry, we don’t know how to pronounce it either.

In regard to actual wheel and tire fitment, this Audi S3 is running our Curva Concepts C300 finished a really nice Gunmetal. Which by the way, looks absolutely amazing on the factory Nardo Gray paint. All four corners are mounted on a 19×9 ET40. The beauty of car culture is that you can modify your vehicle however you see fit. That brings us to the tires: 235/35 Pirelli P Zero’s. Now, this setup does have some stretch. However, if you prefer a more flush tire to rim ratio, then we suggest at least a 245/35 or 255/35 on a 19×9.
