F36 BMW 440i Gran Coupe
It’s hard to believe it’s been so long since we’ve showcased a BMW 440i Gran Coupe! Considering the F36 chassis has been around for some time now, everybody already knows what it’s capable of. Turbocharged inline-six with 320-hp and 330 lb-ft of torque, anyone? Plus with an off-the-shelf ECU flash and some bolt-on mods, this thing turns into a pocket-rocket. Probably the best part about a BMW sports car is the fact you get both performance and luxury. What’s not to like?
As good as all that may sound, because the 440i isn’t technically an M car, BMW tends to lean more towards the general consumer. What are we talking about? Well, even with the M Sport Package, the wheel and tire setup isn’t the greatest. Unflattering widths and lackluster offsets can hold back its performance.

Curva Concepts was originally founded to cater to the Euro sports car market. So, fitting BMW’s with killer wheels is sort of our thing. More recently, we’ve been really focused on dialing in our fitments. That said, expect to see much more content with true and proper fitments; especially on BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz chassis’.
This car got the Curva treatment, too. The F36 is running our Curva Concepts CFF70, which are Flow Forged, in a staggered 19 inch setup. The fronts are fitted with a 19×8.5 +35 while the rear axles comfortably accommodate a 19×9.5 +40. As for tires, the owner of the BMW went with high-performance Lexani LX-TWENTY’s in 245/35 and 275/30, respectively.
A wider track, a more aggressive offset, and grippy tires make for a super fun drive. We think this is a really clean setup for this car. The fitment is nice and flush, yet still offers all the performance benefits you’ve come to expect from upgraded aftermarket wheels.
