At Curva Concepts, we deal with a variety of cars and SUVs, but every so often we get a customer with a car that just stands out. That customer is @Sonicfk8 and his Honda Civic Type R finished in a stunning Sonic Gray Pearl paintjob. This build could not have come at a better time. With the release of our all-new flow forged wheel, the CFF300, this Type-R is the exact type of vehicle we built this wheel for – so it was ideal to showcase these wheels on this car.

Fitment Definitely on Point
The great thing about this Civic is that it just looks so damn good from the factory (minus the wheels), so a bulk of these mods are under the hood… which is the way it should be! Before we get into the wheel specs, lets dive into what other modifications this track oriented FK8 has to offer. The first thing you will probably notice is the Mishimoto front mount intercooler hiding behind the grilles paired with an air intake from them as well. Some other bolt-ons include a Greddy SSP exhaust, SiriMoto E85 Kit, PRL Motorsports Downpipe all topped off with a tune by Bisimoto. And that’s just some of the mods, there are still tons of goodies in and around the car that make this Honda stand out from the rest. A majority of the work was done by Paul over at PK Auto Design in Sylmar, CA (huge shoutout to the boys over at PK).
Now, when it comes to the wheels, we had to get this right because this car does see track days and @Sonicfk8 knew exactly what fitment he wanted to run. With these two variables in mind, the CFF300 was the ideal wheel. This Civic Type-R is running a square application with 18×8.5 CFF300s all around finished in a stunning gunmetal that complements SGP paint so well! The fitment is accurate and precise. The wheels sit perfectly flush with the bolstered fenders of the FK8 which allow for enough meat on the tires for optimal performance. The flow forged CFF300s are wrapped in sticky 255/35/18 Firestone Indyhawk 500s to provide max grip in high pressure situations.
