Tesla Model Y Wheels

When you talk about EV’s, Tesla is probably the first thing that comes to mind. Rightfully so, considering Elon Musk has put in a ton of effort to market these futuristic cars. With near-instant torque and a respectable driving range, the Model Y is a solid choice for an EV SUV. We will say though, one of Tesla’s biggest flaws is the lack of customizable options when ordering them, leaving consumers dreaming of modifications. The good news however, is that the automotive industry has taken advantage of Tesla’s flaws by heavily capitalizing on the aftermarket scene.

You’ve probably noticed a bunch of Tesla’s on the road with crazy wraps, custom wheels, and now even aero pieces. It was only a matter of time, really. That said, as wheel manufacturers ourselves, you know we had to get in on the action. A shop that we work closely with hit us up and put us in touch with one of their customers who picked up a Flow Forged set of our wheels. In typical Curva Concepts fashion, we set up a photo and video shoot.

Fully Electrified

Fresh off the showroom floor the base 2022 Tesla Model Y comes with 19 inch wheels dubbed the Gemini Wheel. However, you do have the option to up-size to a 21″ called the Induction Wheel. If you ask us, 19″ is a little too small for a vehicle this size. The 21″ configuration is solid, but may be too big depending on your goals for the car. That said, the owner of this Model Y opted for a 20 inch set for performance and a smooth ride quality.

This gorgeous white Tesla Model Y is running our Flow Forged Curva Concepts CFF25’s finished in a stunning Gloss Black. As for fitment, the owner went for an aggressive yet subtle look with 20×9 on four corners. Tires are 245/45/20 Falken’s, also in a square configuration. The owner of the Model Y has some big plans for this build, with a wrap, springs and some aero parts. Paired up with our Tesla Model Y wheels, and this thing is ready for lift off.
