Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 Wheels

With its small stature and nimble handling characteristics, the GLA-class feels more like a hatchback than anything else. But that’s not such a bad thing. Okay fine, it’s not the usual sports car we typically showcase, but it’s hard to ignore Benz aesthetics. Looks aside, even though the GLA only makes 221-horsepower, the fun factor really comes from the handling.

Having said that, one of the best ways to capitalize on said fun factor, is to widen the track. And by that, we mean upgrading the wheels to something a little more aggressive compared to stock. Lucky for GLA 250 owners, Curva Concepts carries a solid selection of aftermarket wheels.

Mercedes Wheels Done Right

Now, we’ve done a Benz in the past; the Mercedes-Benz C300 on our C22‘s. This is the first time we’ve done a GLA 250, and hopefully not the last. Normally we’d brag about how experienced we are on the subject, but this being our first GLA 250, it’s tough to do so. However, based on how the test fit and the photo shoot went, we’re getting a little cocky.

When it comes to finding the right wheels for the GLA, you’ve got options. Due to the nature of the soft body lines and hatchback-like styling, virtually anything can make it look good. We opted to go with our Curva Concepts C44 in 19×8.5 for a clean square fitment. As for tires, the Benz is rocking 235/45 Lionhart tires on all four corners.

Don’t look at this thing with one eye, this little SUV will surprise you. With the setup we threw on it, it swallowed some pretty tough corners on our test drive.
