Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Since 1964, the Ford Mustang has been dominant in the car scene and aftermarket industry. There’s probably never been a Mustang release that hasn’t gained the attention of aftermarket manufacturers and car enthusiasts. The S550 EcoBoost is no exception either. Granted, people were skeptical when Ford announced a turbocharged version of the Mustang. Blasphemy? Maybe, but today, the S550 EcoBoost is a well respected platform. The beauty of the Mustang is that there are so many trim levels available, even your grandmother can enjoy one. But if we’re talking dollar for dollar performance, it’s hard to ignore the Mustang EcoBoost.

Enough about the history of this beast, let’s talk aftermarket, shall we? The OEM Mustang EcoBoost wheels are a little lackluster. Don’t be fooled, these new turbocharged Stangs are not by any means ‘weak’. With the right modifications, the S550 can easily take on older GT’s. But as mentioned above, you’ll probably need some wide wheels and a decent amount of meat.

Here at Curva Concepts, we’ve done a ton of Mustang fitments. From GT’s, EcoBoost’s, Mach-E’s and beyond. Not to brag, but we think we’ve dialed in the fitment pretty well. So when our buddy Ramie got in touch to show off his build, we absolutely had to set up a shoot.

Ramie’s S550 is packed with aftermarket goodies. Lowering springs, star lights in the headliner, a GT350 wing, GT350 Louvers and a gorgeous chameleon wrap job. The main component that brings it all together? Our S550 wheels of course! Ramie is running our Curva Concepts C24 finished in Gloss Black with Milled Windows. As for fitment, the fronts are 20×9 wrapped in 245/35 Lexani tires while the rears are a juicy 20×10.5 wrapped in 265/30’s.
